plans and activity sheets for a variety of Internet related standards specific
to ethics. Areas include social, legal, ethical, acceptable usage
behaviors, and effective Internet usage behaviors. The curriculum is
free and downloadable.

Awareness Network ... this site, maintained by a Canadian non-profit
organization, promotes media literacy including the Internet (in addition to
television, movies, video games and music).

Responsible Netizen
Institute ... this site provides guidance for parents, teachers,
librarians, and policy-makes when developing strategies for young people in
their use of the Internet in responsible and safe ways. The executive
director is Nancy Willard who is a licensed educator, attorney, and consultant
for schools in the evaluation of technology implementation.
