Georgia O'Keeffe Unit


"White Camellia" by O'Keeffe

Endeavor, Aurora, and Voyager third and fourth graders are studying the artist Georgia O'Keeffe.   We are creating pictures inspired by her large flower paintings.  Students are studying real flowers for inspiration and then creating their own painting.

Here is the first step of our project: painting the outline of our flowers.

As an artist it is very important to carefully observe shape and line of an object.
