Sources of Water |
Water comes from many sources. Some of the most common places water can be found are lakes, rivers, precipitation and under ground springs. There is a lot of water on the earth in fact about 75% of the surface of the earth is water. Not all of this water is drinkable, it has to be processed first. Even with all this water some places on earth do not have enough water. They are in a water shortage.

Threats to water |
One threat to water is water shortage. This is a threat to most towns water supply because with the growth of towns across America the towns and cities require more water. Some of the towns do not have enough water.
| Solutions to Water Shortages |
There are a few solutions to this common problem. One is to find new water resources or you can raise the price of the water in the city. Another solution is to limit development this will save water by saving the water the new developments would have used. Another solution is to have mandatory water restrictions. My last solution is to encourage water conservation.
