Sources of Air |
Air (oxygen) comes from many different places, but, the two sources that I first think of are water and plants because water is made of hydrogen and oxygen, so, if the water evaporates, it separates into oxygen and hydrogen. I think of plants because they breathe in carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen, which is the opposite of what we do. Without plants, the air that we breathe would have too much carbon dioxide and no one would be able to breathe.
Plants turn the carbon dioxide that we breathe out into the oxygen that we breathe in. Without plant, we would have to find a way to breathe carbon dioxide and before we even did that, the atmosphere would have turned into carbon dioxide. I personally breathe out a lot every day because that is how I let the carbon dioxide out of my body.

Threats to air |
People are also cutting down the trees and plants that produce oxygen from CO2 all around the world and they are not replanting them in other locations. The main threat, radiation threatens all of the basic human needs and the air itself. It kills the trees, pollutes the air and kills people. Think about how many cars are driven in a day in New York City. Then think about how many plants there are in New York City. The car-plant ratio is not very good. This means that the CO2 in New York City is not being turned back into the air that we breathe.
The main threat, radiation, which I will be talking about, threatens all of the basic human needs and the air itself. It kills the trees, pollutes the air and kills people. Nuclear radiation is a bad, bad thing. When let loose, it will kill every living organism in its path, and what it does not kill will still be affected by the radiation. Some things that can happen as a result of radiation are birth defects, or other physical problems. Some things might come in the form of mental issues. One very real accident was the historic accident at the Three Mile Island, which is what I will be using as my case study.

| Solutions |
One solution to the CO2 problem would be to completely develop electric cars that are cost efficient. I think that the best solution to this problem would be to stop cutting down trees. It’s as simple as that. I think that a very efficient way to stop radioactive pollution and accidents such as the Three Mile Island incident would be to stop using nuclear power plants in even remotely residential areas, and a solution to the problem of deforestation would be to stop cutting down trees.
