The following are character sketches as part of a Fairy tale unit with first and second graders in Ms. Fradette's class. The children read and listened to lots of fairy tales. As they read each tale, the children came up with a list of adjectives that described the character (as a group in a shared writing activity). They then listed an event from the story that proved the character actually was this way. The children recorded their words on chart paper.  Next the children visited a computer lab, learned how to use Inspiration, and published their work with the program.  Click on any of the student pairs below to view their Inspirations.
