What are Parent/Student/Teacher
conferences?
An important aspect of successful learning is effective
communication between parents, students, and teachers throughout the school
year. Teachers meet with new Adventurers families before the start of the
new school year, at the end of the first trimester in November, and the second
term in March.
Three half-days are scheduled in November and March for these
conferences. This is a time to review
successes, consider challenges. We ask that students attend the conference to
participate in this conversation as it is important for them have this
opportunity to share their work with parents, hear the praise for the work
they have done, and plan for the remaining part of the year.
Parents can schedule the conference by checking
for available times on the conference webpage and then send us a note to say
which time slot you would like.
