•Identify what it means to be healthy

•Identify senses

•Nutrition - Identify components of good nutrition:

   food groups/pyramid

   healthy eating choices (snacks)

   dangers to our bodies

WATER

•Identify properties of water

•Experiment and draw conclusions about materials that float and sink

•Recognize the water cycle and its stages.

•Define habitats/home

•Identify animal classifications: mammals, reptiles, amphibians, insects, fish, birds

•Demonstrate understanding of animal life cycle

•Describe how animals adapt to their environment

PLANTS

•Describe how plants adapt to the environment

•Describe what plants need and how they grow
