Administrative Procedures On Access To Information Technology and The Internet

In order to match electronic resources with classroom curriculum, school personnel will review and evaluate these resources which comply with the School Board's Policy. Staff will provide developmentally appropriate guidance to students as they make use of telecommunications and electronic information.

An emphasis shall be made on designing information resources in ways which point learners to areas which have been reviewed and evaluated prior to use.

All students will have access to teacher directed use. Parent or guardian permission must be given to allow for independent use or publication of work. Permission must be given via a written form and is not transferable or shared.
