Strategic Plan Goals

Provide the highest quality education for our children.

1. Every child will demonstrate achievement of their learning potential through test scores and other school assessments.
2. All programs will reflect attention to a variety of learning styles (including Multiple Intelligences).

• Staff

1. The high quality of the SCS Administration, Staff and school will be recognized and acknowledged by local, state, and national organizations.
2. The SCS staff will be trained and be sufficient in number to safely and effectively meet the needs of every child.

• Facilities

1. The SCS building and grounds will reflect a high standard of operation and management as measured by the Administration, Board of School Directors and Staff.
2. The SCS facility will meet student, staff, program, and population needs as determined by the Facilities Plan.

• Financial

1. The SCS 5+ year Financial Plan will identify financial requirements, budgetary issues, Act 60 implications, and financial targets.
2. The SCS 5+ year Financial Plan will identify and outline a plan to implement fiscally responsible solutions to the financial requirements, issues, and implications.

• Community

1. The community will be informed about and interested in all aspects of the Shelburne Community School.
2. There will be a continuous means of collecting satisfaction level data from the community and staff.
3. The community will be informed of the school’s progress, programs and other items of interest on a regular basis.
